Vol. 46 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Grazing Plots on County Kerry Estate.

Mr. Lynch

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries whether he is aware that many residents of Kenmare town held for many years grazing and convenience plots on the Lansdowne Estate, and whether he intends in the scheme for the distribution of the Lansdowne Estate favourably to consider allotting to those people at least portion of the lands hitherto held by them.

The Land Commission are fully aware of the circumstances mentioned by the Deputy in connection with the lands acquired by them on the Lansdowne Estate, which will be fully considered when the scheme is being settled for the division of the lands.
