Vol. 46 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Brick and Cashen Drainage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Finance if the engineers who went down ti investigate the possibility of the Brick and Cashen drainage in County Kerry have reported to him, and, so, if he will state what is the nature of their report and whether it is the intention to carry out the scheme and when.

The Commissioners of Public Works have not yet completed their investigations with regard to the question of preparing a drainage scheme for the Brick-Cashen district. The area affected is very extensive, and careful examination must be made of a mass of detailed information in order to decide on the most satisfactory method of dealing with the drainage of the district. It is not possible at this stage to forecast whether, or when, the scheme can be carried out.
