Vol. 46 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Reclamation Scheme for Ringabella.

asked the Minister for Finance if he has had placed before him the plans of a reclamation scheme for Ringabella, County Cork, and if he will consider, having regard to (1) the necessity for such work for the protection of valuable highly rated land; (2) the amount of land that would be reclaimed by such scheme; (3) the general utility and advantage of the scheme to the community; and (4) the amount of needed employment the carrying out of such a scheme would involve, the advisability of including this scheme in any major relief plans that might be approved for Cork County in the near future.

The matter is under investigation and will have very full consideration.
