Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Production and Export of Butter.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state for the year ended 31st March, 1933, the total production of (a) creamery, (b) non-creamery butter to which the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1932, refers; the total amount of (a) creamery and (b) non-creamery butter exported; the total amount raised on (a) creamery and (b) non-creamery butter by way of levy under the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1932; the total amount paid out by way of bounty under the Act on the export of (a) creamery and (b) non-creamery butter; the total amount paid by way of Government subsidy on the export of (a) creamery and (b) non-creamery butter; and the total amount of customs duty paid on the import of butter during the year.

The following are the required particulars in respect of levies, bounties and Government subsidies during the period from 21st April, 1932, the date from which the levy and bounty provisions of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1932, became operative, to the 31st March, 1933.

Production of
