Vol. 47 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Proposed Improvements at Wexford Port.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is yet in a position to give a decision in connection with the proposals submitted by the Wexford Harbour Commissioners for the purpose of improving the entrance to Wexford Port.

A report which has been prepared for the information of the Minister on the engineering aspect of this proposal has been sent to the Wexford Harbour Commissioners for their consideration.

Would the Minister say for what purpose Wexford Harbour is to be improved? Is it not the Minister's policy to close the port of Wexford and other Irish ports?
