Vol. 50 No. 4

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Civic Reform in Limerick.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he has considered the recommendations contained in the report of the Inspector of his Department relative to the affairs of the Limerick County Borough Council, which were adopted by the Council, and, if so, if he will state if it is intended to introduce proposals for legislation dealing with civic reform and the poor law system, and when such proposals will be introduced.

It is my intention to introduce legislation. Difficulties may arise in connection with the proposals, but there will be no avoidable delay.
