Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Compensation for Ex-Connaught Rangers.

asked the Minister for Defence whether the Government is prepared to set up a Commission of Inquiry to consider and report on the question of providing compensation to certain ex-members of the Connaught Rangers who took part in the mutiny in India, in 1916.

It is proposed to set up a Committee of Inquiry at an early date to consider the claims of the ex-members of the Connaught Rangers arising out of the mutiny in India.
