Vol. 52 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Knitting Industry in West Cork.

asked the Minister for Lands if he can state why the knitting industry which has been carried on so successfully at Adrigole in West Cork has been closed down for some weeks past; and if he can state when same will be reopened.

The temporary stoppage of work at the sock knitting centre at Adrigole has been due to a shortage of orders for the output of the class of goods produced at this centre. Every effort is being made to enlarge the demand.
