Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Savings Certificates and P.O. Savings Bank Accounts.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state (a) the sums outstanding in respect of savings certificates at the end of each of the financial years 1925/6 to 1933/4 inclusive; and (b) the number of accounts open in the Post Office Savings Bank and the total amount to the credit of all such accounts at the end of each of the financial years 1925/6 to 1933/4 inclusive.

The reply is in the form of tables, which will be inserted in the Official Debates. Following is the reply:—

(a) Statement showing the sums outstanding in respect of savings certificates at the close of each of the years 1925-26 to 1933-34, inclusive.
