asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state in respect of the years 1933-34, and 1934-35, the amount of the receipts in respect of unemployment insurance (a) from employers and work people; (b) from State funds; (c) from other sources, and (d) the total receipts; and the payments in respect of unemployment insurance (a) to work-people; (b) to associates in lieu of unemployment benefit; (c) other payments, and (d) the total payments.

I am circulating with the Official Report a statement containing the desired information.

The amounts paid into and out of the Unemployment Fund under the headings specified in the question in the years 1933-34 and 1934-35 are as follows.
