Vol. 59 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kilcullen Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether any application for a grant in aid of the provision of a water supply at Kilcullen has been received from the County Kildare Board of Health and, if so, whether he will indicate the amount of the State grant which will be made towards the work.

Representations were made by the board of health in 1933 with a view to securing a grant for this work, and a grant was allocated in 1934. As the work was not proceeded with, the grant was withdrawn. No aoplication for a grant has been made in the present year. According to the minutes of the board on the 15th July last, they do not propose to proceed with the scheme at present.
