Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Durrow (Laoighis) Waterworks and Sewerage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he is aware that the county medical officer of health has reported in favour of the provision of a waterworks and sewerage scheme for Durrow, County Leix, and whether he will request the commissioner now administering the affairs of the county board of health to submit proposals for the early installation of the necessary water supply scheme.

The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the latter part, the commissioner administering the affairs of the Laoighis County Board of Health and Public Assistance, at a meeting held on the 21st ultimo, made an order that the consulting engineer submit an early report on the matter.
