Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Control of Prices.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state when he will be in a position to introduce proposals for legislation to amend the Control of Prices Act, 1932, and whether, in introducing such proposals, he will ensure that power will be conferred on the Prices Commission effectively to prevent profiteering, and to act promptly where evidence of profiteering satisfactory to them is submitted to them.
