Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of County Kilkenny Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what lands have been acquired for the purpose of sub-division in the neighbourhood of Thomastown, County Kilkenny, but are not sub-divided so far; and, further, whether he will state what lands in the same district it is intended to acquire during the next 12 months for sub-division.

The Land Commission have at present no lands in hands in the neighbourhood of Thomastown, County Kilkenny awaiting division. The Land Commission are not in a position to anticipate the result of such proceedings as may be instituted for the acquisition of lands in the area referred to by the Deputy.
