Vol. 69 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Sewerage Position.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if his attention has been drawn to the unsatisfactory condition of the sewerage at Castlegregory, County Kerry, and if he will state what steps are being taken to remedy this dangerous state of affairs.

The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The matter is one for the Kerry Board of Health. I will be prepared to consider proposals from the board for a sewerage scheme for the town as soon as plans have been submitted, provided that the financial position of the board will warrant their incurring further capital expenditure.

Then the reply is practically the same as that in regard to the previous question?

I will have to leave it to the Deputy to interpret that.
