Vol. 69 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Bantry Employment Schemes.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state how many employment schemes under the minor relief schemes it is proposed to carry out in the Bantry area, and if any of those are in the neighbourhood of Glandart, Bantry, and what amount is to be expended on each scheme.

It is assumed that the area referred to is the Bantry (former) rural district, for which 22 separate minor employment schemes have been sanctioned for the current winter. The townland of Glandart is not situated in the rural district of Bantry. It is in the electoral division of Dromdaleague, rural district of Skibbereen, which is being catered for by means of a proportionate grant for a minor employment scheme in the townland of Deelish, which is about two miles from Glandart.
