Vol. 69 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rosscarbery Schemes.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state what employment schemes are proposed to be carried out in the Rosscarbery district (West Cork) during the forthcoming season and what is the amount to be expended in each case.

I assume that the district referred to is the electoral division of Rosscarbery and the town of the same name. The scheme sanctioned to relieve unemployment in these two areas for the current winter is a roads improvement scheme situated in the townlands of Curraheen, Maul and Gallane, administered by the Department of Local Government and Public Health through the county council.
