Vol. 73 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Lane Pictures.

asked the Minister for External Affairs if he will state what progress has been made with the negotiations for the return of the Lane pictures.

I cannot state that any definite progress has been made, but everything possible is being and will continue to be done to secure the return of the pictures.

Could the Minister say what actually is being done? Are negotiations in progress at all?

I am afraid I can only say that I cannot add anything to the reply already given.

If everything possible is being done, surely something is being done.
