Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Male Clerical Officers' Scales of Pay.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the number of male clerical officers employed in each Government Department to whom the differentiated scales of pay are applicable, and the number in each case who are paid on the scale applicable to married officers.

The returns of Civil Service staffs give particulars of staffs serving on the first working day of each calendar year. The information requested is given in a statement which relates to the 1st January, 1938, and which, with the Deputy's permission, I propose to circulate with the Official Report.
