Written Answers. - Import and Export Price Indices.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state in respect of each of the years 1930 to 1938 inclusive what was (a) the import price index; (b) the export price index, and (c) the index price of agricultural produce, taking 1929 as the base in each case.

The particulars required for the years 1930 to 1937 inclusive are shown in the following statement. The index numbers for the whole year 1938 are not yet available and the figures shown represent the simple averages of the figures for the 11 months January to November.
