Vol. 77 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Army Pensions Acts.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state when a decision will be arrived at on the application by Mr. Christopher Sheridan, Clonmoyle, Rathangan, County Kildare, for a disability pension under the Army Pensions Acts.

I regret I am not in a position to state when a decision will be arrived at on the application by Mr. Sheridan under the Army Pensions Acts. The application is still under investigation.

In view of the fact that this man is in a very delicate state of health, and in a very impoverished condition at the moment, would the Minister give an assurance that the matter will be decided in the near future?

Actually, we are awaiting replies from inquiries made.
