asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state whether any regulations have been issued or are intended by which the exchange of Christmas cards between residents in Ireland and residents in the U.S.A. and Canada, will be prevented or interfered with during the coming Christmas season; and, if so, if he will state by whom such regulations have been or may be made, and what is the reason for them.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state whether any regulations have been issued or are intended by which the exchange of Christmas cards between residents in Ireland and residents in Great Britain will be prevented or interfered with during the coming Christmas season; and, if so, if he will state by whom such regulations have been or may be made, and what is the reason for them.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state whether any regulations have been issued or are intended by which the exchange of Christmas cards between residents in the Counties of Derry, Antrim, Down, Tyrone, Armagh and Fermanagh and residents in Eire will be prevented or interfered with during the coming Christmas season; and, if so, if he will state by whom such regulations have been or may be made, and what is the reason for them.

Questions 24, 25 and 26 should have been addressed to the Minister for the Co-ordination of Defensive Measures by whom they will be answered.

I propose to answer questions Nos. 24, 25 and 26 together.

So far as I am aware, there is no restriction on the exchange of Christmas cards between the places mentioned in the Deputy's questions and, so far as the censorship here is concerned, none is contemplated.
