Lists of the articles for the export of which a licence is required were published in the newspapers of the 16th September and 21st October last. All articles not on those published lists are exempted from the licensing requirement of the Emergency Powers (Control of Export) Order, 1939, but no separate list of these exempted articles has been issued because of the large number of items which it would include.
