Vol. 82 No. 7

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wexford Convent School.

asked the Minister for Education if it is proposed to proceed during the coming financial year with the building of a new school at Wexford, for the Sisters of Mercy Order, the plans of which have already been approved by his Department.

Until the position as regards State expenditure generally has been clarified I cannot say whether it will be possible for my Department to allow a grant for the erection of this new school during the coming financial year. If the Deputy will renew his question at a later date I hope to be in a position to give him more precise information.

How much later?

A month, say.
