Vol. 84 No. 15

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as on the Order Paper in the following order—Nos. 6, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Mr. A. Byrne

May I ask whether, on the adjournment, I might be allowed to raise the question of the position of people in Dublin so far as the scarcity of coal and candles is concerned? It is a very serious matter and I have not been able to deal with the merits of it in the question which I put to-day.

I shall consider the matter.

When is the Government going to give time or are they going to give time to discuss the motion standing in the names of Deputy Hughes and Deputy Bennett regarding the price to be fixed for grain?

Has that question been taken up with the Whips? I have not heard of it.

I have just been informed that it is under discussion.

Is it proposed to proceed with No. 11 on the Order Paper before the Recess?

Not this week, I understand.

I said before the Recess?

Has the Minister in mind when the adjournment will take place?

If we can finish the business that is regarded as necessary before the conclusion of this week, we should like to adjourn on Friday of this week.

Till when?

We have not decided that matter yet.

What is to be regarded as urgent?

The business ordered for to-day and the Neutrality (War Damage to Property) Bill, 1941.

That eliminates No. 11 then.
