Vol. 85 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Allocation of Artificial Manures.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he is aware that farmers in certain inland mountainous areas in Mayo such as Tourmakeady and Killawalla are unable to produce crops without artificial manures; if he is further aware that the scarcity of artificials in these areas had a serious effect on their agricultural productivity last season; and if he is prepared to give special consideration to the allocation of artificial manures to these areas for the coming season.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to a similar question put to me yesterday by Deputy O'Neill.
