Vol. 85 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Galway Farm.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he has received representations through the Annaghdown Parish Council on behalf of a number of tenants on the Butler estate, Castlecrevin, Corrandulla, with a view to having divided among them the residue of Mr. Fury's farm, which has been let for a number of years by the Land Commission for grazing; and if he can say if the Land Commission intends to divide this residue in time to have it tilled this year.

Representations urging the division of the residue of Patrick Fury's farm have recently been made to the Land Commission by the Annaghdown Parish Council on behalf of the tenants of the Butler estate, but the Land Commission do not expect to be in a position to dispose of these lands this spring. A difficult rearrangement scheme is involved.
