Vol. 85 No. 14

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take item No. 1 on the Order Paper, the Votes to be taken in the following order: Nos. 61, 44, 58, 50, 77, 79, 30, 33, 63.

Would the Tánaiste say when it is proposed to take No. 78 Personal Injuries (Civilians) Compensation?

When the discussion in the Seanad is over.

At what time is it proposed to adjourn?

We do not propose to meet next week.

If the business for to-day concludes before 9.30, would the Minister give consent to the resumption of the discussion on the transport motion?

No. We are not prepared to go on with that discussion to-day.

When the House is meeting so infrequently, a matter of urgent importance——

Deputies opposite were given an opportunity of discussing the matter months ago, and refused to take it.

There were reasons governing that, too.

It did not suit your convenience. You were offered time to discuss that motion, and you would not take it.
