Vol. 85 No. 17

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business on the Order Paper in the following order: Nos. 5, 2, 3, 4, 7 and 8; No. 1 to be taken in its appropriate place, and No. 6 to be taken at 6.30.

Would the Tánaiste say whether it is intended to sit next week?

That was the intention. Is there any objection?

Is it intended to look for all stages of No. 4 to-day?

Yes, if the House is agreeable. There was some suggestion made to me from my own side of the House that, perhaps, it would be more convenient to sit three days in the following week and not to sit next week.

I think that would be better.

I do not know whether the House would prefer that arrangement.

Does that mean sitting on the Tuesday of that week?

We can settle that by to-morrow.

That would be a better arrangement for people who have to travel long distances.

Is it intended to sit on Friday of this week?

What is the position with regard to Private Members' business?

It is not proposed to interrupt Public Business to-night.
