asked the Minister for Supplies if he will state (a) the monthly output of flour manufactured by the milling industry for each of the 15 months prior to March, 1942, (b) the present controlled monthly output.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Output of Flour.
Under the existing arrangements deliveries of flour by millers to their customers are regulated in quota periods of 28 days instead of calendar months. The total number of sacks of flour delivered by millers during the 15 months prior to March, 1942, was 3,364,513 sacks (280 lbs.) which represents an average of 207,047 sacks in each quota period. Figures showing the deliveries for each quota period in the 15 months mentioned will be circulated with the Official Report.
The present controlled output for each quota period is 170,760 sacks.

Will the Minister say was there any restriction in the output prior to the recent control?
Oh, yes.
When was that, and to what extent?
I would require notice of that question. It has been in operation for a considerable time, and has varied from time to time.
