Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Gárda Rent Allowancés.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the rates of rent allowance paid to (1) sergeants, and (2) Guards, in each of the cities of (a) Dublin, (b) Cork, (c) Limerick, and (d) Waterford.

Under the Gárda Síochána Allowances Order, 1940, the rate of rent allowance Order, geants and Guards is £13 per annum. This allowance may be increased to a sum not exceeding £40 for sergeants and Guards in the Cities of Dublin, Cork and Limerick, and to £30 for sergeants and Guards in the City of Waterford.
