asked the Minister for Defence if he will state (a) the number of military service pension certificates granted under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1924; (b) the number of persons in receipt of pensions under the Act of 1924; (c) the number of certificates granted under the 1924 Act since 1934; (d) the total amount payable in the year ending 31st March, 1943; (e) the number of certificates granted under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934, to (1) Volunteers, and (2) Cumann na mBan; and (f) the number of persons to date in receipt of pensions under the 1934 Act as Volunteers and as Cumann na mBan.
