Vol. 95 No. 2

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Strength of Cork Battalion, I.R.A.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the number of men who comprise the Rathduff Company, 6th Battalion, Cork No. 1 Brigade, as furnished in or around 1935 by the company O/C to the referee in connection with pension claims under the 1934 Act; and if he is aware that a second list showing the company strength to be some 150 per cent. greater was furnished from the same source.

The records, other than the findings, of the referee are highly confidential documents and the findings of the referee are by statute binding on all persons and tribunals.
