Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Employment in Manufacture of Artificial Fertilisers.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the total number of persons, skilled and unskilled, employed in the manufacture of artificial fertilisers for the census years 1926 and 1936; and the total wages paid to each group of workers.

The most detailed information available regarding the occupational distribution of these persons will be found in Volume VII of the Reports of the censuses of 1926 and 1936, on page 73 of the 1926 volume and on page 70 of the 1936 volume. Particulars of total wages paid are not available.
