Vol. 98 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Flax Supplies.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state whether any arrangements have been made with the Government of Northern Ireland regarding the 1946 flax crop; and, if so, if he will say what such arrangements are, and what price, if any, has been fixed.

Arrangements are not made with the Government of Northern Ireland regarding the disposal of the flax crop. The question of arranging for the growing of flax in 1946 and the price to be paid for the crop is at present under discussion with the appropriate British authorities.
