Vol. 102 No. 1

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 12, 13, 14 and 15, with No. 11 in its appropriate place. It is proposed that the discussion on No. 12 will be interrupted at 6 o'clock to take Nos. 13 and 14.

May I ask the Tánaiste if he can, at this stage, give any indication as to when his amendments to the Industrial Relations Bill will be circulated? The purpose of the inquiry is to ascertain whether we are likely to get them in sufficient time to enable us to read them and to submit amendments to the Bill if the Tánaiste's amendments do not cover points that Deputies are interested in?

By to-morrow or Thursday, at most. I want to say that those that will be circulated to-morrow or Thursday will not represent all of them, but will represent most.

In the ordinary course, Deputies' amendments would have to be in by Friday. If they are not circulated until Thursday, that will not leave much time to Deputies to get out amendments.

We will try to get them out by to-morrow evening.

Is it likely that the Bill will be taken on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week?

On Tuesday of next week.

Is it proposed to complete the enactment of these four measures—Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4—before the Adjournment for the Recess?

No, only No. 4.
