Vol. 103 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether he has received proposals from the County Commissioner, Dublin County Council, for the provision of a water supply for the villages of Newcastle, Rathcoole and Saggart, County Dublin; and, if so, whether it is his intention to sanction the proposal.

Preliminary plans for the provision of a water supply for the villages of Rathcoole and Saggart were submitted recently to my Department and are at present being examined. Plans for a water supply for Newcastle (including an extension to Peamount Sanatorium) have been returned to the local authority for modifications which I considered desirable.
