Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Bogs.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the present position of the Land Commission regarding repeated applications for the acquisition and division of the Bulfin Bog, Birr, Offaly; and if he will now state whether a division scheme will be put into operation, and if so when.

The Land Commission hope to obtain possession of and to be in a position to allocate the bog, at Galroe East, on the Bulfin estate, at an early date. There will be no avoidable delay.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the present posi- tion of the Land Commission regarding repeated applications for the acquisition and division of the Coote Bogs, Laoighis; and if he will state when a division scheme will be put into operation.

The Land Commission have in course of preparation a scheme for the division of bogs on the Coote estate, Laoighis, but they are not at present in a position to state when it will be possible to have the scheme put into operation.
