asked the Minister for Local Government whether it is his intention to introduce proposals for the purpose of enabling local authorities to supplement, or otherwise increase, pensions payable, under statutory authority, to employees who retired during the emergency; and if so, whether he will state when such proposals will be laid before the Dáil.
The matter is under consideration.
