Vol. 254 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Cork Special Allowance.

82.

asked the Minister for Defence why a person (name supplied) in County Cork had his special allowance withdrawn.

The special allowance of the person in question was suspended because it came to notice that he was in casual employment. A reduced rate of allowance has been awarded and the arrears due have been paid. Further inquiries are in progress and the allowance will again be reviewed on completion of these inquiries.
