Vol. 110 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Licence for Cork Airfield.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he will state if an application for a licence for an air landing field at Belvidere, Farmers' Cross, near Cork, has been received by his Department and whether it is proposed to grant the licence.

An application for such a licence has been received and the proposed airfield has been inspected by an inspector of my Department.

Certain improvements in the field will be necessary before it can be licensed for use as an airfield. The applicant has been informed that when these improvements have been effected a licence will be granted.
