I have given some preliminary thought to the desirability of broadcasting occasionally the proceedings of the Dáil. Many considerations are involved including that of the possible effect of broadcasting on Parliamentary privilege. If for that reason alone, the matter would appear to be one for examination in the first instance by the Dáil itself rather than by any Minister or by the Government.
