Vol. 110 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of County Dublin Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware of the need for the division of the land attached to the McCarthy estate, Lissenhall, Swords; if he has received applications from local residents regarding the division of this land and, further, if he is prepared to consider the transfer of any person at present working uneconomic holdings to this area.

The only lands on hand on the estate of Irish Land Commission (Mary A. McCarthy) which would appear to be that referred to by the Deputy comprise a parcel of 27 acres equipped with buildings which was taken up from a former allottee for default in the terms of his agreement. The question of reallotting these lands is having attention—due regard being had to all applications received in respect thereof.

I take it that these lands have not yet been allocated?

That is true.
