Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Short-Wave Radio Station.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state whether it is proposed to shut down the short wave radio station at Moydrum permanently; and, if not, when it is proposed to have it (a) in partial operation; and (b) in full operation.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if it is intended to erect a short wave wireless station at Moydrum; and, if so, whether he will state (a) the total cost, (b) the amount of money which has already been expended on the project, (c) what purpose will it serve and (d) from what date is it intended its operations will commence.

I wish to inform the Deputies who have put down this question and Question No. 44 on to-day's Order Paper that the Minister for Finance will deal with the Short Wave Broadcasting Station in his Budget statement.
