Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - General Economic Advancement.

asked the Taoiseach if it is proposed to establish a national economic council, charged with the duty of advising the Government as to the most effective means of securing the general economic advancement of the country and of considering and reporting on all measures and projects designed to achieve that end.

The Government have not yet had an opportunity of examining the question of establishing a national economic council. The matter will, however, be considered in due course.
