Vol. 111 No. 3

Dublin Bakers' Strike.

Before you go into the order of business, in view of the fact that yesterday and the day before I postponed raising the matter of the bakers' strike in Dublin, I would ask now will I be permitted to raise it on the adjournment to-night or can the Minister give us any hope that that will not be necessary.

If I may say so, I would prefer the matter would not be raised. I am in conference at the moment with all the interests concerned. We met this morning, adjourned at half-past one and we are meeting again at 4 o'clock this afternoon. I think, in the circumstances, it would not be desirable to raise it.
