Vol. 112 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Water Supply.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that the Rush water supply cannot meet current requirements due to the erection of many glasshouses in the area; and, if so, whether he will direct Dublin County Council to improve the supply immediately.

Mr. Murphy

I am informed that the local authority are considering a scheme to augment the water supply and trial borings of a well in the area are at present proceeding.
