Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Erection of Hall in County Dublin.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he will make a grant available through the Dublin County Council to an approved committee in Newcastle, County Dublin, for the purpose of erecting a village hall, the plans for which have already been approved.

Mr. Murphy

Approved local councils can be assisted by county councils in accordance with the provisions of Part VIII of the Local Government Act, 1941. There are no funds at my disposal to make a grant for village halls.
