Vol. 114 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Caherciveen Hospital Scheme.

asked the Minister for Health whether he is aware that the detailed schedule of accommodation plans in connection with the erection of the new hospital at Caherciveen was recently forwarded to his Department by the Kerry County Council; and, if so, whether he is now in a position to arrange for the carrying through of the scheme at the earliest possible date.

Diagrammatic sketch plans of the proposed new district hospital were received in my Department on 18th March and are at present under examination. I can assure the Deputy that the views of my Department on these plans will be conveyed to the local authority at the earliest possible date. The Department's views on the detailed schedule of accommodation referred to by the Deputy were conveyed to the local authority on the 10th January.
