Vol. 117 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Reopening of Separating Station.

asked the Minister for Agriculture whether he will consider reopening the separating station at Hare Island so as to relieve the present milk situation there, and to enable the local farmers to get the benefit of the fixed price for creamery milk.

I have asked the Dairy Disposal Company to investigate this matter with a view to ascertaining whether it would be possible to utilise the milk supplies available on Hare Island for the manufacture of creamery butter at the company's central creamery at Aghadown.
